Changing Email
- Go to Dashboard → Settings
- Click "Change Email"
- Enter your new email address
- Verify via the magic link sent to your new email
Note: Your trading wallet and data remain unchanged.
Changing Password
Polyfollow uses passwordless authentication:
- Sign in via email magic link
- Or connect a wallet
There's no traditional password to change!
Account Security
Two-Factor Authentication
Currently, 2FA is handled by:
- Email verification (magic links)
- Wallet signatures (if using wallet login)
Wallet Security
Your trading wallet private key is:
- Encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, with the encryption secret kept separately from the database
- Never stored in plain text
- Decrypted only in memory on our servers, to sign your trades and the withdrawals you request
- Exportable by you from Settings (each export is logged)
Deleting Account
To request account deletion:
- Open a support ticket
- Request "Account Deletion"
- We'll process within 7 days
Warning: This is irreversible and will:
- Close all open positions at market price
- Transfer remaining funds to a wallet you specify
- Delete all account data
