Common questions

How does Polyfollow make money?

Only from the 0.5%. It is built into each copied order through Polymarket, the rate is the same for everyone, and there is nothing else: no subscription, no performance fee, and we cover the gas.

Do I pay the fee if a trade loses?

Yes. The 0.5% applies to each executed taker order, win or lose. In exchange there is no performance fee, so your profits are entirely yours.

What is a taker order? Why are makers free?

Copied trades execute as market orders, which take liquidity from the book: those pay 0.5%. Limit orders you place yourself sit in the book as maker orders and pay nothing.

Are there deposit or withdrawal fees?

No. Deposits are free and Polyfollow covers the network fee on withdrawals. You receive USDC on Polygon.

How do I actually pay?

You don't do anything. The fee is built into each copied order. No invoices, no separate charges, no card on file.

Does Polymarket charge anything on top?

Polymarket sets its own fees on some markets, independently of Polyfollow. Those apply to any trade on those markets, copied or not.
