Low Balance and Auto-Pause
When your USDC balance is too low to execute a trade, Polyfollow will skip the trade and notify you. Here's how it works and what to do.
What Happens With Low Balance?
When a copytrade can't execute due to insufficient funds:

| Sells continue | Exit trades still execute to protect your funds |
Notification You'll See
When paused due to low balance:
" Copytrading Paused - Low balance. Add USDC to resume trading."
This notification is rate-limited so you won't get spammed - max once per hour per trader.
How to Resume
Simply deposit USDC to your trading wallet — copy trading will resume automatically as soon as the deposit is detected. No manual action needed!
You can also manually resume from Dashboard → Active Copies → click the Resume button on any paused trader.
Sells Still Execute
Important: Even when copytrading is paused, sells continue to execute.

This protects your funds - if a trader exits a position, you exit too.
Checking Your Status
In your Active Copies section:

Pro Tips
- Keep a buffer - Always have 20-30% more than your max trade size
- Check your balance - Visible on Dashboard and Settings
- Set up notifications - Get alerts in-app when paused
- Multiple traders - Diversify so one pause doesn't stop everything

Why did my copytrading pause?
Your USDC balance was too low to execute a trade when the trader you follow made a move.
Will I miss all trades while paused?
Yes, new buy trades are skipped. But sell trades continue to protect your positions.
How much balance do I need?
At minimum, enough to cover your configured trade size (min trade amount in Range mode, or fixed amount in Fixed mode).
Does it resume automatically?
Yes! As soon as you deposit USDC, all traders paused due to low balance will resume automatically. No manual action needed.
